So you’re interested in getting involved in Moose Jaw Pride or the Saskatchewan Pride Network?

Our organization and events need community volunteers just like you to help make them a success. We are always looking for people who want to make a difference in our community! Whatever your age, interests, skills or abilities, we’ve got a place for you.

Saskatchewan Pride Network

To get involved in the Saskatchewan Pride Network, please contact our Chair of the Board, Cole Ramsey (cole@moosejawpride.ca)

Regular volunteer opportunities:

  • Setting up venues for events
  • Helping out with fundraisers (selling 50/50, working the door)
  • Button Booth at various events throughout the year
  • Moose Jaw Pride Drop-In
  • Participating in planning committees (Pride Week, Volunteer, Gender Diversity)
  • Helping us fundraise by volunteering with us at Leisure Time Bingo
  • Graphic design & social media management
  • Helping to sort & clean at Rainbow Retro Thrift Shop
  • Baking & cooking at Events
  • Applying to join the board

Pride Week volunteer opportunities include:

  • Helping set up events
  • Putting up posters & handing out flyers
  • Setting up & taking down barricades for the Parade
  • Driving a vehicle in the parade
  • Decorating a float
  • Attending events and inviting your friends!
  • Sharing our Social Media content on Facebook and Twitter

Throughout the year Moose Jaw Pride takes part in a number of major events, including:

  • Gender Diversity Awareness Week (March)
  • Moose Jaw Pride Week (May)
  • Moose Jaw Hometown Parade (June)
  • Moose Jaw Sidewalk Days Festival (July)
  • Trans Day of Remembrance (November 20)
