LGBT Diversity Training for Community Organizations
October 26, 2016
1PM – 4PM

This fun and engaging 3 hour workshop will be held in the Dining Hall at Walker Place, 2150 Walker St. Swift Current, SK

Registration Fee: $25 per person (you will be invoiced following registration).
Snacks and refreshments provided.

As a participant of this workshop, you will have the opportunity to learn about the LGBT community, hear about first hand experiences and common challenges of LGBT people, ask questions about gender & sexual diversity in a supportive environment, practice using inclusive language and terminology, and begin planning how your organization can support healthy diversity.


About the Facilitator

Joe Wickenhauser is the Executive Director for Moose Jaw Pride. He has worked with schools, health regions and community groups to offer guidance on how to support LGBT people in an organizational setting. The mission of Moose Jaw Pride is to celebrate and support gender and sexually diverse people through the provision of fabulously inclusive community services and educational opportunities. The vision is a thriving community for all gender and sexually diverse people.
